Ibrigu clothing is inspired by the Japanese art, kintsukuroi, of creating something new from the cracks and fragilities of its original form. Straying away from mainstream cliches, Ibrigu enhances the lives of kimonos and scarves with disassembling and reassembling techniques by skilled artisans. Their clothing hints at French style and Decadentism with the goal of valuing ‘handmade’ and ‘Made in Italy’.
