Nikki Kule was born into fashion. Her father, Gene “King of Pants” Kule, created the brand Happy Legs with her mother, Arlene, in 1970s New York. Knowing she wanted to stay in the biz, Nikki attended Parsons and further honed her aesthetic by living in Paris, New York, and Rome. Following the birth of her first child, she saw an opportunity to create luxe childrenswear and launched KULE in 2001, becoming only the second childrenswear designer to be inducted into the CFDA. Following a stint as the Creative Director for kids at Brooks Brothers, Nikki shifted gears into womens, relaunching KULE in 2015 with a line of perfect stripe tees. Now that she’s dressing the whole family again with mens and kids, the brand has truly come full circle. The collection has grown, but the design approach has remained the same: happy clothes, made with love, made to last.
